For the next 3 weeks of March, the Bay Head School Student Council will be selling snacks at lunch for $0.50! The snacks include an assortment of chips, Rice Krispie Treats and Oreos.

Hello families! It is time for our traditional Kids Heart Challenge program! Through our partnership
with the American Heart Association, students will learn about the importance of their heart and brain
health, acquire the life-saving skill of hands only CPR, get moving with fun activities, meet kids with
special hearts and raise funds for the health of all hearts. Plus, our school can earn PE equipment
and direct givebacks and your child can earn fun thank you gifts. Most of all…they will feel good for
doing good! REGISTER TODAY! Everything can be done easily online with the AHA Schools Mobile App or by going to www.heart.org/schools.

Do you sing, lip sync, dance, play an instrument, or have a talent you want to share? Come audition for the school’s talent show on Wednesday, March 13th from 2:30-4:00pm. Please see flyer for more details!

Bay Head School Student Council will be hosting a New York City themed dance on Friday March 1, 2024 from 7-9pm. Tickets costs $5, which includes water and snacks. Please see the full announcement for the permission slip.

BHS will be hosting Theater Week from March 4-8, 2024. Michael from Taubenslag Productions will once again be managing the production, and this year’s performance will be Oliver Twist. All children in Grades 1-8 are invited to participate. Rehearsals will be held as follows:
Monday & Tuesday March 4th-5th: 2:40-4:40pm
Wednesday & Thursday March 6th-7th: 2:40-4:20pm
Friday, March 8th: 2:40-4:00pm and students are to return at 6:30pm for the performance.
The performance will be held in the BHS Gym on Friday, March 8th at 7pm. Please complete the permission slip for your child to participate in this fun event!

Please be advised that there are multiple reported cases of strep in the upper and lower wings. Please contact the Nurse’s office at 732-892-0668 ext. 3201 if your child is diagnosed with a strep infection. If diagnosed, the child should remain out of school until antibiotics have been started and the child is fever-free for 24 hours. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.

Student Council will be selling chocolate covered Oreos during lunch for $2 per Oreo on Wednesday and Thursday February 14th & 15th.

The Bay Head School District is pleased to inform you that on Thursday, March 7, 2024 your grade 8 student will participate in the administration of College Board’s PSAT assessments. Please read the attached letter for more information.
